I know I am mostly gay somewhat bi, Completely in the closet because practically everyone I know hates gay people or makes fun of them all the time. Including my family and the few friends I have. Lived my whole this way. Every relationship I have had with women has ended up bad.

I hate this shit, I am so miserable, life sucks!

The constant "I hate my life" plays over and over in my head. I just want to be normal and enjoy life for once.

If you can't be yourself around your "friends" and "family" then it is time to find people that love and accept you and most of all you need a place where you can love and accept yourself.

I know it's easier said than done, but if your family and friends can't accept you for who you are, they suck. And many of them, especially the huge homophobes, are probably gay themselves.

Another option is to find an open minded woman who would enjoy a third person in the mix

You would be surprised at how NOT alone you are with this problem!

 

I have several friends who spent far too long of a time in the closet. In the end, they always say how it was worth it for them to just suck it up and say who you really are. There may be fighting, and they'll never look at you the same way again, but at least you aren't living a lie.

I live in a country where everybody hates gay people, but still... I know how you feel, I'm not gay, maybe a little bit bi-sexual, but I'm an artist. When I wanted to go to the art school my family forbided me, but if they do so they are not good family. And friends, just leave them behind and find new friends who'll love you for what you really are, not for your sexuality!

 

PS: Your family might get over it after a while, I know mine did.

Accepting my homosexuality was the best thing that happened in my whole adult life. The only regret is that I wasted so many years telling myself I was straight.

You can flee from Hetero-World, at least for a while. Go to gay bars, sign up to gay dating sites, spend your holidays in gay-friendly resorts. You'll see how many of us are out there. And how many cute guys will smile back at you.

If you are too young for this, watch those 'It gets better' videos on Youtube to get some courage for the next few years.

In my experience, most people don't really care if you are gay. Sure, they make bad jokes or ignorant remarks, but they're not hateful. It is possible to avoid the hating minority. When I first came out to some colleagues, the reaction was like 'Ah, Ok'. I was a bit disappointed for the lack of drama..

One big advantage of being gay is that getting casual (some would say meaningless) sex is so easy. Sometime when I read threads on XNXX, I smile about all those desperate heteros that struggle to do something more kinky than letting her ride on top. Threesomes? Outdoor Group Sex? Yawn, been there, done that.

If you can't be yourself around your friends, are they really your friends? Find better friends.

 

The only way you will ever feel normal is to BE YOURSELF. If your friends don't like it, they aint your friends. If your family don't like it then yeah it's a problem but if they can't at least accept it you're better off without them too.
It will be tough, but eventually you will have a life and friends that you are happy with. Stop wishing things were different, you can't change what you are but you can change your circumstances.
