Things to highlight that we are indeed in a new generation: 1, the guy doing the thing is different. 2, different background for the entry. 3, a whole new section for the type, pokeball, and what appears to be a bran new flower thingy. 4, types circle now has a presumably Japanese letter over them. And finally 5, (my personal peeve), the threat level 'face' is now just grey instead of colored, but I suspect shape and eyes will become the new differentiator.

Here's a possible issue, though: What if new games get released faster than Kinkymation can make art for the other games? By the time he's finished with Gen 2, Gen 10 or maybe even Gen 11 could be out.

Kinkymation is such a good artist but I feel like their talent is being wasted on Pokémon, it'll be years before they can finish the comic and who knows when they'll make another one
the comic will litterly never end pokemon will last forever , he will drop dead before he even gets close to half the pokemon gen-one took him 1 and a half years alone and 3 pokemon games came out by then
if he goes at the rate he is did gen 1 then It will take 8 years to do the current existing generations and by then there will be 3 more gens and that is not an exaggeration
I might be clawing at straws here but the tone shift from Gen 1-2 kinda reminds me of the Genshin regions lmao. From the more european medieval fantasy style of Gen 1 (Mondstadt) to this new Asian inspired vibe of Gen 2 (Liyue), even our protag has had a redesign and we all know Kinkymation does love their genshin artwork.
New gen, and new background artwork awesome, also yeah Kinkmation is going to be the very best like no one ever was, and I'm loving it
